What is c.o.r.e academy?
A Christian Microschool with a Big Agenda
C.O.R.E Academy is a Christian Microschool under the umbrella of The Ekklesia Training and Equipping Center as part of the ministry's education initiative. At C.O.R.E Academy we believe in placing Christ over restrictions everyday (C.O.R.E). Our school is made up of small flexible learning environments that serve a small number of students with no more than ten students per class and no more than 100 students per location. Specialized instruction is provided for all students and operates outside of the traditional school system. C.O.R.E Academy serves as an excellent choice for students who have been or are currently being homeschooled as it is a cross between homeschooling and traditional schooling.
At C.O.R.E Academy we recognize that what is good for the masses is not necessarily good for every child. We desire to serve each child according to their needs.

What We Believe: Statement of Faith
At C.O.RE Academy our motto is "Christ over restrictions everyday" because we believe that Jesus Christ is over every limitation presented in life. With education and Jesus Christ a child can succeed in life. If given an opportunity every child can learn.
- We believe there is one living and true God who has revealed himself in three persons: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, infinitely perfect and eternal in existence and equal in glory, majesty and power (Matt. 28:19; Lk. 3:21 -22)
- We believe that there is one Lord, one faith one baptism and that there is one God and Father of all, who is above all (Eph. 4:5-6).
- We believe according to Romans 11:29 that the gifts of the Spirit (1 Cor. 12:1-31) are irrevocable and enduring through all ages for the benefit of believers and unbelievers alike and that they are to be desired (1 Cor. 14:1); that signs and wonders will accompany the preaching of the Word and that they will follow those who believe.
- Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (Rom. 3:23-25; 6:23; Eph. 2:8-9.)
- We believe in the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the laying on of hands for the empowering of the Spirit, for healing, for impartations of gifts of the Holy Spirit, and for recognition and empowering of those whom God has ordained to lead and serve the church. We also recognize that another of the two ways recorded in the Bible that God empowers people is through individual or corporate prayer and waiting upon God.

Founder |CEO| Dean - Chrystal Crawford, DMin, M.Ed
Chrystal Crawford founded C.O.R.E Academy in 2024. Her experience stems from teaching in New York City and St. Louis. Having taught both general and special education in charter, independent, public, alternative and most recently with homeschoolers, she is uniquely qualified to effectively lead the organization in establishing high-performing schools and pioneering for educational excellence in the St. Louis region. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) as well as a masters of education from UMSL. From International Christian University she received an honorary doctorate in ministry. She is a wife, mother, tv producer, author, Christian ministry leader, mentor and forever a lover of education.
CFO - Marshall Crawford
Marshall Crawford with a background education from Harris Stowe State College, Marshall is the overseer of all financial planning and analysis, investor relations, investments and taxes. He is a husband, father, Christian ministry leader, photographer and is dedicated to serving the St. Louis region.

Volunteer Educational Assistant - Stephanie Fielder
Stephanie Fielder, with a background that incudes early childhood education, serves as a volunteer educational assistant to grades k-5. She holds a Bachelors of Arts from Huntingdon College in Business Management and is currently an ambassador to the Jett Foundation for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. She is a wife and mother dedicated to the advancement of every life she touches.
